FAQ’s

If you visit our get a quote page we will send you a quote. You can also contact us by phone or email us to check availability. 

All we require to book a wedding car is, the date of your wedding, the pickup address, place of marriage address and the reception address. We also need the time of service and a contact telephone number for the chauffeur. 

When we receive your wedding details we send you a completed booking form. A £50.00 booking fee (non-refundable) is all we require. The booking fee is deducted from your quote. Once we have received your booking fee and booking form your booking with us is secure.

FAQ – Elegance Wedding Cars why don’t you show a set price? 

We can’t show a set price as our wedding cars are not all the same price. Costs do vary and depend on which car you choose, where the pickups are and the length of hire. We don’t take our 1936 and 1937 Vintage cars in the City of Westminster due to the traffic conditions. 

Our cars are maintained to the highest standard they are checked, cleaned and prepared on the day before each wedding. We never book all our cars out and always have wedding cars available just in case. Classic and Vintage cars are far more basic than the modern cars of today. It is almost impossible to repair a fault on a modern car without the aid of a diagnostics computer. We do reserve the right to substitute an alternative vehicle in the unlikely event of an accident or breakdown etc, wherever possible. 

It is wonderful to arrive at your ceremony in elegance and style. The wedding car will wait until the ceremony finishes for those all important photos of you and your partner with your wedding car.

When the wedding and reception are in the same place, we offer you the opportunity to have a short drive.

It is a criminal offence for wedding car hire companies who do not hold a Liquor License to provide Champagne (alcohol) even if supplied free of charge. MAXIMUM PENALTY – £20,000 FINE and/or 6 MONTHS PRISON SENTENCE. We do not hold a Alcohol License, we cannot provide alcohol.

Our Vintage Rolls Royce wedding cars and Silver Cloud Rolls Royce wedding cars do Not have seat belts.

We will only take Children 4 years of age accompanied with an adult.

The Law states children 3 years of age or under cannot travel in a car that doesn’t have seat belts. UK law states that children must use a child car seat until they’re 12 years old or 135cm/4ft 5in tall, whichever comes first. Cars with seat belts must make sure children wear the correct child restraint. We will not travel with any child sitting on passengers laps for safety and legal reasons.

We are only allowed to do Weddings. Wedding cars and funeral cars are exempt from licensing as long as they only do weddings or funerals.
It is against the law for a wedding car hire company that is not licensed to do anything other than a wedding or funeral. Which means if they are not licensed like a cab they CAN’T do Proms, Ascot, Tours or any other event. Cars older than 10 years of age cannot be licensed as they are too old.

If you find an unlicensed company that will do other events they will not be covered by there insurance.

We cover Central London, Romford, Dagenham, Loughton, Hackney, Buckhurst Hill, Wood Green, Chigwell, Waltham Abbey, Chingford, Epping and areas inside the M25 close to Wanstead East London. When you find a wedding car company, ask them if they own the wedding car themselves. ​Always ask to view the car even if you don’t want to. If they won’t let you view the car don’t book with them as they probably don’t have that particular car or the car is in poor condition. ​Ask if the car you see on their website is the actual car that will arrive on your wedding day. ​Make sure you get a booking form to confirm the car you have chosen is booked for your wedding date.
