FAQ – Elegance Wedding Cars why don’t you show a set price? Costs do vary and depend on which car you choose, not all the cars are the same price. We do need to know where the pickups are and how long you want the car before we can send you a quote.

Our cars are maintained to the highest standard they are checked, cleaned and prepared on the day before each wedding. Classic and Vintage cars are far more basic than the modern cars of today where it is almost impossible to repair a fault on a modern car without the aid of a diagnostics computer. We do reserve the right to substitute an alternative vehicle in the unlikely event of an accident or breakdown etc, wherever possible.

It’s your big day… why not?  It’s wonderful to get to your ceremony in elegance and style. The wedding car will wait until the ceremony finishes for those all important photo shots of you and your wedding car.

If the wedding and reception are in the same place, we offer you the opportunity to have a short drive.

This is a FAQ – Elegance Wedding Cars get asked do you supply free champagne. We would love to but it is against the law.

It is a criminal offence for wedding car hire companies who do not hold a Liquor License to provide

Champagne (alcohol) even if supplied free of charge.

We do not hold a Liquor License and therefore cannot provide alcohol.

Your custom is very important, but we won’t break the Law to gain your booking.

The champagne service is subject to UK licensing laws. Wedding car companies are not allowed by law to provide alcohol for the Bride & Groom unless they have a special license. Even if a wedding car company provides champagne on Free a special licence is still required as the law considers it is an ‘indirect sale’.

Our Vintage Rolls Royce wedding cars and Silver Cloud Rolls Royce wedding cars do not have seat belts.

We will only take Children 4 years of age accompanied with an adult.

The Law states children 3 years of age or under cannot travel in a car that doesn’t have seat belts. UK law states that children must use a child car seat until they’re 12 years old or 135cm/4ft 5in tall, whichever comes first. Cars with seat belts must make sure children wear the correct child restraint. We will not travel with any child sitting on passengers laps for safety and legal reasons.

We only do Weddings. Wedding cars and funeral cars are exempt from licensing as long as they only do weddings or funerals.
It is against the law for a wedding car hire company to do anything other than a wedding or funeral if they are not licensed. That means if they are not licensed like a mini cab they CAN’T do Proms, Ascot, Chelsea Flower Show, Airport transfers, London tours, Theatre evenings or any other event.
Cars older than 10 years of age cannot be licensed, they are to old.

Our Vintage Cars are over 80 years old, we won’t travel great distances with the Vintage Cars. We are one of the few Vintage and Classic Wedding Car companies that go into Central London and Westminster Areas. We cover London, Central London, Romford, Dagenham, Loughton, Hackney, Buckhurst Hill, Wood Green, Chigwell, Tottenham and areas close to East London.

When you find a wedding car company, ask them if they own the wedding car themselves. Always ask to view the car even if you don’t want to. If they won’t let you view the car don’t book with them as they probably don’t have that particular car or the car is in poor condition. Ask if the car you see is the actual car that will arrive on your wedding day. Make sure you get a booking form to confirm the car you have chosen is booked for your wedding date.
